I’m Shiva Shahsavari, a tech professional with a doctorate in engineering from the Technical University of Eindhoven in the Netherlands. With over a decade of experience spanning Data Engineering, Data Science, and AI, I bring a unique blend of academic depth and industry expertise to everything I build and teach.
My Story
My journey began in software engineering, where I developed a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, a mindset that continues to shape how I design scalable, maintainable systems.
Alongside this, my early grounding in quality assurance instilled a deep commitment to building reliable, high-quality solutions.
Over the past four years, I’ve specialized in data engineering, architecting robust ETL pipelines and data platforms. For the last six years, I’ve immersed myself in data science and AI, working on machine learning models and intelligent systems. Most recently, my focus has shifted to Generative AI, where I explore the frontiers of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision-Language Models (VLMs) to push the boundaries of innovation.
At Shiva Tech Hub, I channel this experience into practical learning and curated insights, helping others stay ahead in the fast-moving world of data and AI.
Why I Started This Platform
I created Shiva Tech Hub to empower a broader community of Data and AI enthusiasts to level up their skills and thrive in the real-world tech landscape.
Over the years, I’ve seen a growing gap between academic knowledge and industrial demands, especially for those transitioning from non-technical backgrounds into the world of AI and Data Science.
This platform is my way of bridging that gap. I want to make advanced concepts accessible, practical, and relevant, so learners can confidently build systems, solve problems, and contribute meaningfully to the field.
But there’s a deeper reason too. Teaching has always held a spiritual significance for me. It’s a path I’ve long wanted to pursue, inspired by my father, who was a teacher himself. I believe in the transformative power of education, and Shiva Tech Hub is my way of giving back, sharing what I’ve learned, and helping others grow.
